With all the buzz about the new Barbie movie, pink is on everyone ‘s mind. Born and bred on Barbie, I’ll always be a Barbie girl in a Barbie world. I was so excited to introduce Delaney to Barbie and was overjoyed when she loved her Barbies as much as I did. Playing with her, I felt like I was gifted a second childhood. Spending so much time with Barbie is probably why I subconsciously gravitate toward pink to this day.
Although the Barbie movie has brought pink to the forefront, it’s been my go to color for a long time. There are so many reasons to love pink! Pink looks great on every skin tone and compliments all hair and eye color combinations. Pink also has a shade for every situation, it can be bright and bold or soft and demure. Pink can match your mood or change your mood. How can you have a bad day dressed in pink?
It can be worn as a showstopping primary piece that will be sure to turn heads. It’s also a smart accessory that can brighten up any outfit. Even a drab, boring outfit can be resuscitated with a little pop of pink. There are so many shades that it can also play an opposing role to almost any other color as a top or bottom. Pink is my favorite ” neutral ” and can compliment almost anything you put on. It’s also one of the few colors that can be worn in every season.
In my opinion, pink should be a staple in every closet!
